good morning. another gloomy cloudy wet day here in hawaii. small waves and crowded. today will be my last day of uploading video and i swear i will never do it again. a few months ago, i was really thinking of getting a video camera but now, now freakin way!! it just takes too much time on the computer and i’m trying to find a way to get away from my computer. i feel like my computer is running my life and i don’t like it. i started another big project yesterday morning sorting out all my photos from the last mentawai trip and i have some pretty cool photos that i didn’t even know of. i put together a little book for my memory and am going to get it printed out later this week. pretty stoked on that! anyway, hope you enjoy your day! i’ll be stuck in front of this computer all day today!!! yeah!!! yeah right….

i think it’s pretty cool how jake mizuno put together the grand opening. surfing is all about the kids. and to give the kids this kind of opportunity is pretty amazing…

the media was there and pretty much everybody in the industry. i’m glad i went to check it out. it was good to see old time friends….

when i was in high school. we use to drive our vw’s around town racing and making trouble. then on the way home, we always stopped by zippy’s and ate the burrito with chili. that was 25 years ago and i’m still doing that till this day… back then, it was two dollars something, today, it’s $5. boy how do times fly…

hanging out with the kids make me feel young. that’s why i hang out with the kids….
