on the small days, some of the Uncles go out and snorkel around to look for treasure, and exercise.  on the small days, i like to play around so i snuck up from behind.

i grab the wetsuit and i already know the reaction.  it’s either a heart attack or laughter.

in this case, it was almost a heart attack at first.  

then came the laughter.  haha.  this was our highlight of the peaceful morning.  good to see you smiling Alan!  

Joshua and i bbq time back in the day.  it’s crazy that Joshua is a grown young man that now lives next door to me.  time sure flew by…

North shore chest high and bumpy onshore.
Ala Moana knee high and clean.

North winds at 10mph.

we spent this morning surfing out at Bowls.  the waves were small but if you had the right longboard and the right attitude, it was perfect.

before we paddled out, 2 of my friends told me the waves were flat and they went home.  sorry guys, this is not flat!

after a nice afternoon nap, Carter called me up for a tow in training session.  i would never turn down a ride on the jetski.

we were out in the middle of the ocean flying around on the ski and foil.

on the way in, Carter took the ski up to 40mph (65km) and i was holding on for my life!  that was a pretty amazing adrenaline rush!

we are boys with lots of toys.  this is how you’re supposed to enjoy middle age life.  we worked hard our whole lives so we deserve anything we dream of.
