i was passing by John John Florence’s boat last week.  it’s been sitting there for a while because John John’s been a busy guy.  but now that the Olympics are over for him, i told my friend “i wouldn’t doubt if John John quits the tour this year and goes sailing.  if that was my boat, i would.”  

then today the news came out that John John withdraws from the final 2 events of this season.  that means he has the rest of the year to sail!  now that’s a smart man.  it will give him time to heal his knee, and it will give him time to sail where there are no restrictions.  almost every country is closed, but the ocean is always open…

i have to wear nice clothes tonight so when i took out my pants, nothing fit!  every single one was super tight and some couldn’t even go over my thighs.  i’m pretty happy because foiling and training is building up my legs, but i’m pretty bummed because i don’t like to go shopping at all.  i was at Ala Moana Shopping Center buying pants.  after that, i was totally exhausted…

i like to get different angles on different waves.  this one is pretty cool!  

i’m so happy that i’m back to short boarding again.  it’s a different feeling but the end result is very similar.  PURE STOKE!  

after a long day in the ocean, you must take care of your body and soul.  and a fresh sashimi platter does that for me…

then spicy tuna rolls and uni sushi for my dessert.  i’m sleeping with a smile after this…
