Moonlight Flying Mountains

i was so excited for this mornings session so i woke up at 2am. when you have to meet your tow in partner at 4:30am, you better not be late.  i’ll never be late for that!

it was still dark but the full moon was looking so beautiful.  flying out with the jet ski in the dark was exciting in itself.

then foiling the first waves of the day while it’s still dark was extra exciting.  today i recorded my longest wave which was over 4 minutes long!  my legs were burning!  thank you boys for the exciting morning!

today was the first time i tried out my brand new foil board.  so far, so good!

South swell came up today, waves were well overhead and very powerful.  i was riding mountains!  tomorrow will be another early morning session in the ocean.  this time, i’m taking my speargun!

The Foil Coast

there are so many spots to foil on the South shore.  places i had no interest in before is magic to me now!  i just drive around the island looking for a little wave that can turn into something very special.

no crowds and no hassling.  i can get any wave and turn it into many waves.  when my foil friends from Japan come to Hawaii, they are going to be in for a treat!

beachfront paradise.  this is the closest to the ocean you can ever imagine on Oahu…

i have a tomato plant in my yard.  so every time this little boy comes over, he goes straight to the plant and eats all my tomatoes!  look at the juices and seeds around his mouth.  haha!
