Freezing Cold Hawaiian Day…

gosh, this mornings sunrise was super special.  probably the best in a while…

today’s choice was Diamond Head.  i was surprised on how good the waves were.

good to see surfers enjoying the perfect glassy conditions.

i think the waves were the best in a while at Diamond Head.  and not that crowded too.

today was my first time riding my Trinx Model II.  i just love it!

it got crowded after so i was done.  caught 8 waves that made my day so perfect!  by the way, some places in Hawaii recorded 35 degrees fahrenheit this morning.  that’s 1.6 degrees celsius!  that’s crazy cold!!!

Mixed Bag of Colors…

gosh, the past 2 days have been freezing cold!  these North winds we’ve been having makes the air clear, fresh, cool, and so beautiful!

ok, i finally figured out how to turn my foil board just how i like to.  want to know the trick?  just like everything else in life, it’s 100% commitment and nothing less.  try it and you’ll be surprised…

when you go on a dive trip, you kind of have an idea on what you want to hunt.  on this trip, we wanted to hunt different kinds of species and try to cook them in different ways.  so we were targeting one of each and guess what?  we got just that!  our cooler had uhu, opelu, opelu kala, mu, kumu, moana kali, munu, menpachi, uku, papio, yellow spot, crabs, lobsters, squid, and a couple more i’m probably forgetting.  if you were to eat this in a restaurant, it would cost you a couple thousand dollars easy.  i’m pretty confident the boys will be eating good seafood like this for the rest of their lives…
