North shore chest high and good. Coming up tonight.
Ala Moana knee high and clean.
Diamond Head waist high and clean.
No wind so perfect morning conditions. Afternoon onshore winds.
Sunny and warm.
Going to the sea.

early morning i was sitting on the beach in the dark watching everybody show up for the Super Bowl Sunday surf session.

i was star gazing, moon gazing, and Molokai and Lanai gazing…

then i paddled out and it was already crowded.  but thanks to my foil, crowds don’t matter.  i was flying around like a free bird.

watched the amazing sunrise from the water.

caught a few more waves, and i was completely satisfied for the day.  and it was still only 7:30am. can’t wait till tomorrow…

my brother is taking apart my little bike so he’s teaching Mateus how.  they are going to rebuild it from the bottom up.

i bought this bike from Japan around 30 years ago.  every single one of my nephews and nieces rode it at one point in their lives.  so yes, there is a lot of history here.

this bike was actually expensive.  and good thing because if it was cheap, it would have rusted into the ground under my house.

after my brother and Mateus are done, this bike should be looking like new…
