i thought about using Amazon Prime for the first time yesterday.  if you have an account, you can order food from Whole Foods and they will deliver to your doorstep for free.  so why not try right?

first, it comes on time.  then i open the bag and felt something squishy.  it was soggy over ripe tomatoes!!!  yuck!!!

then this was the fresh lettuce i ordered!  omg!  i thought it was a joke!!!  thank goodness my chicken loved it, but i surely didn’t.  i will never ever use Whole Foods and Amazon Prime again!!!

i passed by Haleiwa at 8am and counted 70 surfers in the lineup.  then i looked over at Pu’uena Point and counted 80 surfers.  OMG, it was a crazy Thanksgiving surf day.  thank goodness i surfed early in the morning…

i took Mayuki out to Waikiki Queen’s to watch people surf.  then i noticed how green Diamond Head was…

with all the rain we’ve been having, the green is back.  and i love it!!!

when i get a text at 4am from Kaiborg, i know the waves on the North shore are going off.  so i drop all my plans and head out.  i learn so much from these guys.  we got out of our trucks in the dark and before we could even see the ocean, Kaiborg said “here’s no good today.”  what????  he knew that just by hearing the waves and smelling the air…

so we raced around from spot to spot in the dark.  haven’t done this in a while so it was pretty exciting.

then we finally found the perfect wave!  it was so perfect!!!

then came back to town to spend Thanksgiving Day with family.  right before sunset, i had a request to see the sunset.  and there’s no better place then to see it from the ocean.  it was amazing…  hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day!!!

i was in Niu Valley yesterday waiting for Kelia so i drove to check out my old middle school.  this was the main office.  the principals office door is straight back in the entrance.  i know it well because i spent a lot of time in there getting scolded.  i even got suspended from school twice for fighting but it wasn’t my fault.  or maybe it was.  haha…this is Building A.  my math class was in that building.  i remember Mr. Wakahiro well because he always made me sit in the front of the class.  haha.  and i also use to clean all those classrooms as my part time job.  it was pretty cool seeing and reliving all the good memories…this is the side of the cafeteria.  this is where all the fighting went down.  when ever you had a problem with someone, you just had to say “meet you after school at the cafeteria brah.”  if the guy showed up, you’re going to fight.  if he didn’t show up, he will never pick on you again.  simple…  as i was leaving the school, a security guard came out of the office and stopped me.  he said “brah, what you doing here???”  i said “sorry, i’m just trying to get back some memories i forgot for decades.  now it’s all clear, and now i realize i shouldn’t be here.  sorry again.”  then Kelia finally came home with Love.  i asked her how giving birth was.  she said “easy, 5 minutes and he was out.”  haha.  this is one lucky baby because Kelia is going to be the best Mom in the world…
