Boys who Fly and Missing a Brother…

got the call from the boys early this morning.  paddled out in the dark on the North shore and the waves were super good!

good to see the North Shore boys out.  it’s a totally different vibe than town.  i want to say it’s a lot more positive, and a lot more hard core…

Kaiborg was ripping!  he was on all of the best waves of the day.

SUP foilers loving life too!  look at those mountains of water!

Uncle Brian with the nice bottom turn…

Peter King styling…

the North Shore boys don’t care about anything.  all they care about is having a great time together.  i really like that vibe…

yesterday, one of our good friends passed away.  we were all feeling the hurt but we must be strong and do what our friend would want us to do, which is to continue to enjoy life.  i shared a couple waves with Kaiborg and i’m sure it was in our minds the whole way.  i would like to say goodbye to our good friend John Shimooka.  we will surely miss you brother…

A Surfers College Graduation…

Gavin and Lauren are such a cute couple.  very young and got their whole life ahead.  and now that they can surf together, life will only get better… Lauren riding wave after wave all the way to the end… Gavin has done this hundreds of times… and the both of them sharing the same wave.  this is cool… congratulations Gavin for graduating from College!  and congratulations Nanami-san for raising such a good kid!  have a safe flight back to the snow mountains…and thank you guys for the wonderful gifts!  going to sweeten my days…
