i had no idea what Zoom was till last night. then i was invited into a chat via Zoom so i clicked “yes.” omg, had a wonderful talk with the girls. super good friends for decades and that will never change. all 3 of these girls are what i consider “soul surfers.” they surf everyday because it’s their passion. i respect them very much and it’s been a while since i hung out with them. not physically, but electronically. better than nothing and when this situation is all over, i’m sure we’re going to meet up somewhere in this world. but for now, i told them we should do this every night. haha. thanks again for the chat Maki-san, Ayu-chan, and Eri-chan. miss you girls…

Beach Bums…
summer has come very early this year. it’s been super warm, sunny sky, and cool trade winds. been surfing on the low tide mornings, and foiling on the high tide afternoons. this morning paddled out at dark and scored! new South swell is here!
gradually the beaches are getting crowded. once Hawaii fully opens up to tourists again, i think it’s going to get crazy very fast.
found this old photo i took of Gen at Queens. this is gold…
spent another 5 hours on my computer looking for a Jimny in Japan. even made a few phone calls but i forgot how to speak Japanese! it’s been 2 months since i spoke Japanese so i’m forgetting it!!! haha…
