The lonely Waikiki…

Good morning 5:15am.

North shore waist high and junky.

Ala Moana knee high and clean.

Diamond Head waist to chest high and bumpy.

Trade winds at 25mph.

Sun, showers, and rainbows.

Going to exercise.

spent another wonderful day in the ocean.  the waves were small so it was very calm all day long…tried to catch a fish at sunset but nothing bit my lure.  i never liked to use a fishing pole because i’d rather jump in the water and hunt.  but i tried my best and will never fish for another year.  i’m too impatient.  haha…stayed out till very late and it was the first time i seen Waikiki so dark looking.  every hotel is closed so no lights at all.  looking at that felt kind of sad.  i hope Waikiki and the whole world lightens up soon…

it’s been so crowded recently but for some reason, it was totally empty when Mateus and i paddled out.  it felt weird to have the ocean to ourselves.  but hey, i’ll take it…such a bummer the kids are out of school for the past month, and who knows how much longer.  i guess it’s a good time to spend time with family and enjoy the outdoors.  i’m loving this time because i needed to slow down and do things like this more often.  i just love this kind of quality time… i’m still trying to get Mateus more comfortable in the ocean.  he’s confident in the pool, but the ocean is another thing.  hopefully that day will come soon…but for now, Uncle Kirby will take you surfing anytime and every time you want.  love you little boy!Masae-san staying home and making strawberry candy!  omg, i want one! and Seira-chan staying home and making strawberry cheese cake!  looks so delicious…and now that Seira-chan can’t surf, she’s farming with her family.  such a cool thing growing your own food and eating it.  that’s the best lifestyle…and Toda-san with the perfect views of Mt. Fuji.  thank you guys for staying home and can’t wait to see you when this is all over…
