Home Gardening

been home a lot so taking good care of my yard.  come and take a tour around my house.  always nice to wake up to sunflowers…more colorful flowers on the way…there’s been a dried up plumeria branch in my yard for the past 5 years and i thought it was dead.  then i stuck it in soil and guess what?  it’s came back alive!!!fresh rosemary is a must in my meals…i planted a sudachi tree about 5 years ago.  i’m still waiting for it to fruit!  it’s looking super healthy so hopefully very soon…and my gardenia plants are huge!  averaging about 4 fresh flowers/day all year round…Pepper is still very healthy and happy.  laying eggs everyday and keeping them warm…since it rains at my house almost everyday, the plants grow wild.  i never ever have to water anything because it will just grow on it’s own.  so every 3 weeks, i fill up 3 big trash cans of greens.  that’s why i like coming home after a long day at the beach.  it feels like i’m sleeping right in the middle of nature.  some of the freshest air in the world…

Asia Travel Advisory…

last October and November i was in Japan.  enjoying the food and culture as usual.  it’s hard to believe what Japan is going though now. i have some Japanese friends telling me their scared, and i have other friends telling me everything is ok.  i hope everybody listens to the government and stays home.  that’s the only way to prevent the spread.  it’s working for us here in Hawaii and if everybody is mindful, it will work for you…

last November i was also in Indonesia and life was normal.  then the coronavirus was born.  the government was in denial last month but now, the virus is spreading rapidly.  this is the new hotspot…

then this past January i was in South Korea walking though and eating at night markets.  the virus was already happening there but nobody knew about it.  kind of a scary thought.  i’ve been back in Hawaii ever since and i’m still not sure when the next time anybody will be traveling.  and when that happens, this world will never be the same…
