Moonlight Surfing

Sasaki-san has never surfed this early in the dark so today was the perfect day.  it was pitch dark, but the moonlight was showing us the way!and like how most first time moonlight surfers say, “omg, this is beautiful!”  the full moon going down to the West…and the sun rising from the East.  so yeah, you can watch the full moon and sunrise at the same exact time.  it was amazing…and the waves were amazing too.  i was watching Sasaki-san enjoying the early morning rides.then the sun came up and brightened up our day.we had this place to ourselves!  i think Sasaki-san will be surfing dawn patrol more often from now on.  i think he liked it! then the sun shined and warmed us up.  another day of perfect Boot Camp surfing.  thank you Sasaki-san!

right after this, i went to pick up the 2 boys and brought them right back out.  more rides, more smiles, and more precious moments.  i got home at 11:30am and i was the happiest man in the world.  complete satisfaction…

Panic Attack: Coronavirus

ok, here’s what i think about the coronavirus.  yes, it’s scary, and yes, it’s affecting the world.  BUT, everybody shouldn’t panic.  panic leads to fear, and fear is bad.  as of right now, we have no cases in Hawaii.  BUT, it’s just a matter of time.  and when that happens, i know everybody will panic because Hawaii is a panic island.  all we can do for now is to wash our hands, stay away from sick people, and if you’re sick, stay home.  i decided that i’m not traveling this year because i don’t want to get stuck in another country for quarantine.  if i get stuck, i want to get stuck at my home.  i feel so sorry for the people stuck on cruises, stuck on military camps, stuck in hospitals, and stuck in China.  getting stuck away from home sucks.  i know that because i’ve been stuck before…looking at the future?  nobody knows what will happen but things like this will happen over and over.  so take a deep breath, and enjoy every moment of every minute.  enjoy your family and friends.  live life to the fullest.  and most importantly, KEEP CALM…
