Surfing Hawaii: Let’s Meet my Famous Family!

we got to the parking lot and one of my friends told me that Seth Moniz was there.  and since Mama and Papa Iwata-san are big fans, i had to introduce them.  i was so happy to see Seth back in Hawaii.  i miss this kid… then it was time for Boot Camp.  Mama is one of the most powerful Mama’s i know.  so active, so energetic, and so happy!   glad you enjoyed the ride… Papa is more genki than ever.  he’s been mental training before coming back to Hawaii so surfing is almost too easy for him. Seth is super famous now so he has fans all over the world.  but even though he’s busy, he always makes the time to say hi.  this is a big part i love about him.  Mama and Papa were super stoked!  surfing with Seth Moniz?  serious???  haha…a few more rides that will last till next year. and always ending our session with the perfect wave.  when we were paddling in, Mama told me it would be nice if she could meet Kelia Moniz someday… and guess what?  right when we came in, guess who walked down to the beach?  yup, Kelia Moniz!  and once again, i never planned this, it’s all natural…. moments like this are totally priceless…  memories forever… since Mama and Papa follow my blog, they know a lot about Seira-chan.  they were watching her surfing today and Papa said she looks like a ballerina dancing on the water.  so calm, and so beautiful.  i agree.  and Seira-chan was super happy to see Seth today, and Kelia again!  lucky girl…then we went off to the east side.  that story coming tomorrow… then on the way back, we stopped at Diamond Head to check the waves.   omg, it was amazing!  i went home, took a nap, woke up before dark, and headed back. caught 3 waves and i was totally satisfied.  a very long day but a very happy day.  thank you everybody involved for making it so special…yes, my drive home was very happy and i think somebody lit the sky on fire!

$$$I want to live in Hawaii$$$

Renta-kun is a super cool kid.  he’s only 15 years old but we talk like we’re adults.  he’s so excited about his Hawaiian lifestyle and made so many friends already.  i love to teach this kid how to surf because his smile is so golden after a good ride like this.   now i’m teaching him about surfer style too.  how to look cool, and how to surf cool.  just like this…  good boy Renta-kun.  so happy you’re meeting so many cool friends.  and so happy you’re catching cool waves…Seira-chan is very lucky when it comes to meeting Kelia.  i never planned any of their encounters but it just happens over and over again at the perfect time.   i guess it’s like a connection or something?  nobody i know met Kelia Moniz more than Seira-chan.   not even me!  haha… Kelia brought out the joy in surfing.  and Seira-chan went right along with it.   surfing so beautifully and confidently. Kelia Moniz is the queen of surfing.  nobody surfs more sweet and graceful than this girl.  and once you can surf this sweet and graceful, you will become a queen too! Seira-chan’s been here for over a month now.  we surf together everyday and i still haven’t heard a single complaint out of her.  this girl totally amazes me… Papa and Mama Iwata-san brings happiness to me every time they come to Hawaii.  no matter what we’re doing all day long, we’re having a wonderful time.  drinking boba tea is just one of highlights of our day. and going to Tantalus to get fresh air is becoming a yearly ritual.  we just love smelling the sweet flowers and hunting for avocado…   i keep on telling everyone that the cost of living in Hawaii is very high.  just to have a modest standard of living for a family of 4 people, you will need to make $9,632 a month.  that is $115,584 a year!  that’s even higher than i thought.  that’s actually pretty crazy!
