i’m at a great place in life.  i can do 3 things i love all at the same time.  i can foil, i can teach surfing, and i can take photos.  all makes me happy and i can do all on one wave now… taking off is the most important part of surfing.  if you time the takeoff right, everything else will just flow… then you can do your bottom turn and the rest is up to you and the wave… just keep on surfing while i’m flying around you like a bird with a camera in his mouth.  haha… nice cutback Seira-chan!opps, i still have to practice a bit more.  haha…

 woke up early and was ready for finals day!  so stoked to see Seth looking so relaxed and confident.  Seth was down, but he came back and won the heat.  now we’re going to the semi-finals! handsome kid yeah?  gosh, i keep on telling my friends i hope Seth doesn’t gets a girlfriend.  once fierce competitors like Seth get a girlfriend, it all goes downhill after that.  haha…  hey Seth, keep the fire within… then was the semi final matchup against World Champion Gabriel Medina.  i think i was more nervous than Seth!  Seth couldn’t exit his barrels so he lost.  he gets an overall 3rd place and a huge jump up on the ratings.   now Seth’s hope for a slot in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics is looking better than ever!  he’s Top 9 in the world and even in front of Kelly Slater!  yeah!!!  so happy!  good job Seth!  i’m so proud of you!Seira-chan was watching the contest too.  so right after it was done, we went surfing at Diamond Head.  10′ barrels all afternoon long.  haha…  just joking…  but we had a great time in the beautiful ocean…
