The Magic Wink…

after a nice surf session and lunch, you can’t beat going on a boat and enjoying the ocean.  nobody dropping in, nobody talking, and nobody bothering us.  it’s just us and nature!

i was so happy to watch the 3 boys enjoying Hawaii like this.  very peaceful and very calm…

then a big turtle popped up right next to them!  they got to swim with it for a while.  so lucky!

shaka boys!  so happy to spend a full day with you guys…

ended off the day with a milk tea smoothie.  so cool and so refreshing…

then i came home and saw some ice cream in my freezer!  wow!  Kelia dropped it off and i can’t wait to try it!  thank you girl!

for the past 3 weeks, if you thought i winked at you because i’m trying to pick you up, sorry about that.  my eye is still irritated so i’m constantly winking all day long.  it’s pretty funny because i must make women and men feel very uncomfortable.  haha.  imagine me winking at everybody all day long everywhere i go.  can’t help it…  haha…

June 20, 2019 Hawaii Surf Report

Ocean cruising with the Tohoku Boys!

Good morning 5:50am.

Ala Moana waist high and good.

Diamond Head chest high and bumpy.

Trade winds at 20mph.

Sunny and warm.

Going surfing and foiling.

Have a wonderful day!

A Day in Hawaii with the Tohoku Boys…

had a blast with the Tohoku boys today.  first starting out with Ishikawa-san riding smoothly…

a great smile after a great ride…

next was Otaki-san.  super happy and smiling the whole way…

then Shishido-san caught a left all the way to the wall…

yeah, long ride, long smile…

Otaki-san on his last ride of the day…

Ishikawa-san riding past Diamond Head…

i really wanted to eat pho today so when the boys told me they wanted to eat pho, i was so happy!   it was hot and tasty!

then went to cool down at Waiola Shave Ice…

i remember when i was a kid coming to this store.  and this is one of the few left and surviving.  i hope it survives forever because this is how Hawaii use to be…

small cup with azuki and ice cream on the bottom.  flavors of the day was milk tea and green tea.  the best $4 combination on the island…

we checked Diamond Head and i was mesmerized by the winds on the outside.  i was dreaming how my foil will be flying across the sea from left to right.  can’t wait to try it!

the boys went exploring for a little while.  but turned around pretty fast because it was too hot.

so we decided to cool off in the blue sea.  it’s kind of crazy how there are so many things to do in a single day…

thank you boys for the surf, food, sweets, cruising, and lots of laughs…
