i love to watch documentaries. so when this one came out, i made the time to sit back, focus, and watch it without any interruptions. i was totally shocked because i didn’t know about this story. it’s called “When They See Us” and it’s about 5 black teenagers that got falsely accused for raping a white girl. it’s very hard to watch without getting mad at our own government. it’s hard to watch wondering what these kids had to go through. and it’s hard to watch how screwed up our justice system is. they eventually all got exonerated and set free, but i’m sure some scars will last forever. it makes me think how many more innocent people are sitting in jail today. very sad documentary, but very real too. please take the time to watch it because we can all learn from it. just in a day, you’re life could be taken away from your own government. so scary…

Life in a Bikini… Go-Maichan!
heard there was a false alarm today at the Honolulu Airport. a laptop exploded and somebody yelled “gun shots!” then all hell broke loose. panic everywhere. so sad that we have to live with this kind of fear now days. any kind of “pop” noise will freak everybody out. heard passengers were complaining about the delays, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.
i really miss diving into the underwater world. haven’t done it in a while because of my eye, but i’m hoping to get back in my underwater peaceful world next week.
and i’m looking forward to seeing this again. i’m sure it will feel like i seen dolphins for the first time. haha…
for now, i just stick my camera underwater, come home, and enjoy the underwater world from my computer. better than nothing…
i got asked again today “is foiling hard to do?” i told the man, “it’s actually the hardest thing i’ve ever tried in my life. it’s very dangerous, and very humbling. and it’s definitely not for everyone. but if you can overcome everything, your life will never be the same…
just ask Carter how hard it was to get this comfortable. i was there the whole way with him and we pushed each other and never gave up. the key to foiling is “never give up!”
