all eyes on this boy.  big news when he beat the local Jack Robinson who was favored to win the whole contest.  Seth always loves to be the underdog!    was sitting in a bar with Carter last night cheering on Seth.  his 2nd quarter finals result for the year so it was so exciting!   5th place is still a keeper and that will push him up the rankings for sure. during Seth’s heat, they spotted a big shark!  so the jet skis came and took the boys back to the beach.  the contest was on hold… Seth isn’t scared of sharks, but i bet his mom Tammy was on the beach freaking out!   come in, take a break.  i was surprised they decided to continue with the contest?  i would have gave the shark space and came back the next day… good to see my sister and Tony over there supporting Seth from start to finish.  it’s called family love.  i was texting Seth between heats but can’t tell you what we were talking about.  too many haters out there.  haha..beer and mango pie?  it was a sweet and bitter night…  thank you Carter for always supporting Seth with me.  and thank you everybody else for the supportive texts.  one day, we’re going all the way!

 watching Seth’s heat today and getting so excited!  he was surfing against the local favorite Jack Robinson.  Jack absolutely dominated yesterdays heat but yesterday is yesterday.  and Seth’s knows not to look into the past.  today is today and Seth stepped up and took out the local favorite!  solid surfing and smart surfing.  right after the heat was done, the text messages stared flooding my phone.  first was from Tony saying “We’re going to finals day Kirb!”  my reply was “yes we are!”   we are so freaking happy!!!  also want to thank my friends around the world for the texts!  we’re all in this together!  this was Seth’s first big fish he speared when he was a kid.  he dreamt it, and he did it.  hey Seth, many more big fish to spear, and many more big pro surfers to beat!  your’e the man!!!i am totally bored!!!  nothing to do because i can’t go into the ocean yet.  watched movie after movie, took nap after nap, and even did some gardening today.  and when i get bored, i’m like a girl and think about shopping.  and ever since my eyes landed on this bike, i spent hours and hours looking for one.  don’t be surprised if you see me riding one tomorrow.  haha.
