such a small world! we seen Japanese Legend surfer Abe-san this morning at breakfast. i met Abe-san in Oiso a very long time ago in Japan. he’s always been so kind and so cool. amazing surfer and amazing legend!
stopped by this Thai restaurant for lunch today. i ordered the baby octopus salad with fried sardines. it was delicious! and only $7.
we have this free fruity water in the lobby of our hotel. between the 4 of us boys, we must drink about 5 of these per day. that’s including filling up our flasks. haha…
tonight’s dinner was escargot. super rich and super buttery.
my main course was the lamb shank. so tender and juicy.
Tony and i foiled 5 sessions on this trip. it’s mostly just the 2 of us flying around like little kids in a big ocean playground…
i’ve been practicing my cutbacks. it’s one of the scariest thing to do!!!
got my new foil toys today from Signature Foils. it’s looking super sweet!!!
and my new full carbon board was hand delivered by longtime friend Mike Woo. i can’t believe the high quality of this rocket! i can’t wait to ride my new foil setup once i get back to Hawaii!
right now, i’m packing my board bags and getting ready for the 2 day travel back to Hawaii. i’m actually a little homesick so i’m looking forward to returning to paradise… see you guys soon!

Kelly Slater on Mike Woo’s! Yeah Mike!!!
Angry Management
Tony and Jeff spent a day on active volcano Mount Agung. looked super fun but i was in an air conditioned room getting a deep massage instead.
so cool to see the Bali Groms watching the competitors. this is the future…
we pulled some beach chairs and umbrellas to the beach and made front row seats. just like Waikiki style…
check out our view! can’t beat it!
thousands of people, little of waves. it was so small and inconsistent that i was so frustrated watching Seth’s heat. he lost his heat not because of lack of performance, he lost it because lack of waves. these kind of losses hurt the most. i went to Seth’s room right after and told him “i freaking feel like punching someone!!!” i thought i’d make him laugh but he wasn’t laughing. poor kid. and poor uncle because today i realized that i need to go to Anger Management Classes…
us boys were frustrated too so we went to watch the romantic full moon to cool down..
the is the 3rd day in a row we went to eat here. it’s my all time favorite in Bali! i just love this style of choosing your own fish and having them grill it to perfection.
super local, super good…
we chose all different types of fish to test out. now we know which is the best fish to grill. it turned out to be the palani.
always good service!
added in some clams, dug in with our hands, and had the tastiest meal you could ever imagine. i think we’re going there again tonight. haha…
anyway, good job Seth! we love you and will continue to support you forever!!!
