Angry Management

Tony and Jeff spent a day on active volcano Mount Agung.  looked super fun but i was in an air conditioned room getting a deep massage instead.   so cool to see the Bali Groms watching the competitors.  this is the future… we pulled some beach chairs and umbrellas to the beach and made front row seats.  just like Waikiki style…check out our view!  can’t beat it!  thousands of people, little of waves.  it was so small and inconsistent that i was so frustrated watching Seth’s heat.  he lost his heat not because of lack of performance, he lost it because lack of waves.  these kind of losses hurt the most.  i went to Seth’s room right after and told him “i freaking feel like punching someone!!!”   i thought i’d make him laugh but he wasn’t laughing.  poor kid.  and poor uncle because today i realized that i need to go to Anger Management Classes… us boys were frustrated too so we went to watch the romantic full moon to cool down.. the is the 3rd day in a row we went to eat here.  it’s my all time favorite in Bali!  i just love this style of choosing your own fish and having them grill it to perfection.   super local, super good… we chose all different types of fish to test out.  now we know which is the best fish to grill.  it turned out to be the palani.   always good service!added in some clams, dug in with our hands, and had the tastiest meal you could ever imagine.  i think we’re going there again tonight. haha…

anyway, good job Seth!  we love you and will continue to support you forever!!!

What is Freedom?

This is FREEDOM!  Foiling Bali and enjoying every minute…

Deep Local Balinese Style…

last night was only Yasin and i so i asked him to take me somewhere deep in Bali.  and a little romantic too.  haha.  we ended going so deep to a place he didn’t go before.  so we went driving around local harbors because we wanted local style… we passed by KFC.   opps, i mean JFC.  haha.  this is a total copy of KFC. i’m sure it’s pretty good but that wasn’t deep enough for me. then came across this warung.  we pulled over to check out what were in the coolers. the lady opened it up and it was all fresh reef fish caught that day!   i was so happy as we picked out what fish we wanted them to grill. so cheap here!  local prices and local style.  i was excited! then we take a seat and wait for our food.  you won’t find any tourists here. waited as i drank a couple big cold Bintang beers.  Yasin and i were super excited and couldn’t wait for the food. then it came!  looked so delicous!!!  can you believe it was only $14 for this, including 2 large Bintang’s?  we ate with our hands, we ate it all, and we were so happy.  tonight, we’re taking the boys and going back for more.  they’re going to love it.  thank you Yasin for taking me to explore.  this is the best part i like about traveling…
