woke up this morning and no contest on. so it was another free family day! Tony and I went out for a morning foil, then Kelia showed up for her first foiling lesson. she was ready! haha!!!
loaded up the speed boat and headed out for a practice run. 
omg, i couldn’t believe she got up so fast!!! natural talent at it’s finest…
then Kelia wanted more. so she said “i want to catch a wave.” what??? i thought to myself if Tony and I didn’t take her, she will go with someone else. that wasn’t going to happen because nobody cares more than us. she borrowed my board which turned out to be best for her. 
the owner of the boat let me drive his boat again. so happy! 
we got to the outside and this girl was ready. super calm and looking like she’s done this before. but in fact, she didn’t. 
no leash and no fear. i think we were more scared than her.
here it is folks. this is Kelia Moniz’s first foiling wave! she freaking did great! i’m pretty sure she’s hooked just like us now. haha…
yes, the smile a foil can bring out is priceless…

went to eat spareribs and chicken right after. this is becoming our favorite restaurant in Bali. now going for a $7 massage. see you in my dreams…

and my lunch yesterday was impressive too. Malaysian style lakso. lot’s of spices and very tasty. and only $3.
went to pamper myself at the spa next to our hotel. seen this little girl getting a foot massage. really? 
then the little girl got a back massage too. really??? anyway, i started my 2 hours of pampering with a pedicure. 
this was the first time in my life i got a pedicure. the lady scraped off so much dead skin. yucky! then right after this i got into my 1.5 full body massage. for the 2.5 hours i was in there, i spent $14. so stoked!
and so stoked with my smart battery case from Apple. my phone lasts all day and all night now. thank you secret Santa!
our boatman wanted to foil too so he just said “drive!” he had no idea if i could even drive a boat or not. haha. that’s what foiling does to us. the boatman would have lost his job if i sank the boat. but i wasn’t going to let him down. i was having so much fun as a boatman too! 
last year, i started foiling to glide on small waves in the inside. i was actually satisfied with that. but now, i just want to go bigger and bigger. i get so excited with the oceans power and all the speed i’m getting. this trip has really woken me up to a new horizon. life is so exciting!
