back to our breakfast. pork shabushabu ramen, fresh opihi, and grass fed beef. i felt kind of bad eating this kind of food first thing in the morning. only Kings eat like this…
always breathtaking drives. everywhere you look, it’s blue ocean or green mountain.
and if you know where to jump in for a snorkel, you will find some island treasure…
and also looking deep into the side roads. this is the part of exploring i like…
i pull up to Cousin Dino’s house and the first thing he says is “wait, i get something for you!” he opens his refrigerator and gets out a fresh slab of deer he just recently hunted. Dino is the kind of guy that gives and gives. that’s the true meaning of “Aloha.”
this is island style refrigerator. fresh from the mountains…
clean it up, then dress it with rosemary. a meal for me to bring back to Oahu. thank you Dino for always been such a giving person!
then driving around just taking in the fresh air…
and spectacular views…
then the sad part of leaving…
but the happy part is that i know i’ll be back soon. very soon…

Relaxing and Fullest Lifestyle…
jumping on an airplane is as easy as catching a bus. when you do it over and over, it gets easier and easier.
while we were waiting to take off, we had to stop for 20 minutes because lots of fighters jets were landing right in front of us.
so it was pretty cool watching jet after jet land safely. it was the closest i’ve even been to one of these.
once we took off, the excitement started. it’s Naoka’s first time so i know he was very excited for this trip. he’s been asking me to take him for years and years…
the day has finally come, and the weather and conditions couldn’t have been any better.
it was time to slow down. and this is the slow down lifestyle i want to share with all of my closet friends. my life has changed a lot, and i have a lot to owe to this beautiful island of Molokai. i could see Naoka gradually shifting down and blending in to this amazing view.
for every lunch, this place is mandatory. you won’t find a better burger in this world…
Naoka and Maki-san enjoying the food and slow lifestyle…
and guess what we ate for breakfast this morning?
while we were eating this for breakfast, i told Naoka and Maki-san, “i bet a lot of people in this world must hate us right now.” haha. can’t help to be living life to the fullest…
