Another day in the purest nature world…

Good morning 6:30am.

North shore overhead and perfect.

South shore waist high and perfect.

Light winds so clean morning conditions.

Sunny and very warm.

Another peaceful day in paradise.

 Asayama-san wanted to do some exploring so he chose the right person to do just that.  so it’s kind of a trip within a trip?  and since we’re surfers, we don’t leave home without our surfboards.   Tesla came out with driverless cars, but look at our driverless private jet!  haha… so exciting to jump in a little plane and explore the Hawaiian islands like this.  we checked each island out and decided where to make our landing…   us 2 boys having fun like 2 boys.   away from the people, traffic, crime, and concrete.  you can’t find a place like this anywhere else…gosh, i feel reborn again!  taking in the fresh air, going with the flow, and loving each and every moment of it.  this is peace, this is wonderful!

 last time when i was sitting in my hotel room at a newly built hotel in Yokohama, something caught my eye.  there was a custom frame built around the TV!  it looked so cool and i was thinking it would match perfectly in my house. it looked super clean and cool.  so i took this photo and thought i’d build one when i got back to Hawaii.    this is how my wall looked for the past many many years.   but with my foot still swollen and sore, i had nothing else better to do but do something that will bring me joy.   so i bought the lumber and got to work.  it cost me about $80 and didn’t take that much of my time to build it.

so here it is!  the finished look.  now my living room looks 10x better and cooler.  i just love it!   next time i travel, i’ll look for another project.  then i’ll vision it, and build it!
