got up early, went down to Mayuki to clean her up. took my foil just in case and good thing because Bowls was empty!!! foiled 3 waves at a time and in 30 minutes, i felt totally satisfied.

then started to work. went under and cleaned the bottom, then i could hear noises! dolphin noises!!! so i come back up the Mayuki, and right as i looked where the anchor was, i seen 30 dolphins surround me. omg!

so i pull up the anchor and glide along as the dolphins were leading the way. so gently and so freely…

it was weird because usually they follow me, but today, i was following them.

then they stopped in 6′ deep water. i turned off the engines, and we played for 30 minutes.

i jumped in to swim with them and they thought i was one of them. so peaceful as nobody was around. it was so amazing! and i got back in before 9am with a full day of satisfaction.

then had to fix my electronics. so started off by taking out my GPS. i was alone so nobody could help me catch it on the other side when i pushed it out.

so before i pushed it out, i secured a towel so it will catch the GPS. good thing because if this didn’t work, it would have dropped and broke for sure. that would have sucked a $1,000!!!

fixed it, resealed it, and put it back in perfectly. saved a few hundred bucks by doing it myself.

then surfed with Hattori-san this evening. amazing day of pure satisfaction!!! tomorrow who knows what i’ll see???
Waikiki Dolphin Whisper?
Wow! Look what just happened!!!

the dolphins came to me!!!
so many dolphins kimashita!!!
Boat fire and Body cam

my heart stopped when i heard about the fire at the Yacht Club! glad Mayuki wasn’t close by.

the Honolulu Police are now required to use body cameras. yeah! i think that’s great because now there will be no making up stories. the video don’t lie…

i went to Yanagi sushi 30 years ago and i thought it was the best Japanese food in the world. i went there the other night and realized how clueless i was 30 years ago. i will never go there again.

and seen some not so fresh fish at Tamura’s market.

these Uhu’s are from Vietnam??? really??? so i’m guessing it’s about 2 months old. yuck…

and seeing this shirasu from Japan? are you serious? after i saw this, i really missed Kimura-san…

you won’t find a view like this anywhere in the world. only in Hawaii…

thank you again Jikou-san family for the wild experiences!

and thank you for the sweet Wakayama ume!

after hearing my story of taking the 2 young boys swimming at this very same spot, Nao-san told me that she wants to try next time. isn’t it amazing how kids can inspire adults? well, i’m not ready to throw anyone in this wild ocean anytime soon. i actually came home after that and thought to myself “wow, that was crazy!” wait till you see the photos i took…
