it was totally supposed to rain today. where was it???? it was like a hot summer day! and there was a little summer swell today! shoulder high sets and absolutely perfect!!! nobody knew because it was pretty empty. we scored!!!

day 2 of boot camp. Tonooka-san perfecting his style. and if you ask me, this is perfection!

it’s amazing how happy you can be when your surfing gets better and better.

it all shows in the smile! Tonooka-san on the paddle back out with a big smile!

Watanabe-san on a pretty big wave. pure concentration.

and the more waves you ride, the more practice you will get, and the better surfer you will become.

nice bottom turn! amazing progress boys!

i’m so proud of you boys for taking your level to a higher level. your live will never be the same. just remember what you learned and do it every single time you go surf.

first time eating pho for these boys. they loved it!

and i always love it too. tasty, healthy, and happy lunch.

it was so hot today but the boys wanted to hike diamond head after lunch. i don’t know where they get their energy from? after i dropped them off, i came home and took a nap. haha. thanks again Tonooka-san and Watanabe-san for the awesome surf sessions. you guys rip!
Surf and Hike: Hot Hawaiian Day!
Dirty Water Dayz

had a great time hanging out with my friends yesterday. just driving around acting like kids. look at these 2 kids having fun!

this photo is freaking classic! i love it!

then the chinese tourists by the bus loads came by. they wanted to get a photo with hawaii’s best toy! haha.

it was so funny watching them line up for the photo. one chinese tourist was so appreciative that he came to me and offered me a handful of something. guess what it was? he was trying to give me a quarter and 2 pennies. wow! 27 cents? really? haha.

Toda-san and Takami-san enjoying the ride. i wish this buggy could fit 6 people so i could have taken everyone around the island.

went to my favorite secret spot and seen dolphins there for the first time! omg, i’ve been here over a thousand times since intermediate school and never seen dolphins before. so lucky!

the water was very dirty yesterday at bowls so everybody stayed away. what a lot of people don’t know is the tide can clean things up in hours. we were lucky to arrive right at the best time. totally clean and totally empty!

Toda-san on a really good one.

power SUP surfing.

Hikaru-san going backside.

Takami-san charging. missed the shot. sorry.

nice wave and nice bottom turn.

evening glass. we freaking scored big time yesterday!
