Rikita-san and Toshimi-san always like to try something new. so instead of eating shave ice again, we went for some taiwan taste tea!

yesterday afternoon i went to help Aoi with the contest. i remember surfing my first contests and yes, i was nervous too. so somebody being there will help a little, a tiny little.

at this stage, Aoi has nothing to lose. just going out there and trying his best is good enough for me.

and guess what? Aoi went out and caught the biggest and best wave in the heat! he ripped it! all he needed was to catch another wave and he would have advanced. next time he will. great job kid!

Toda-san gave me a box of goodies! when i opened it up, i thought i was in Don Quijote!

omg, Mateus is going to love this! i can’t wait till he comes over again.

when you see friends enjoying surfing so much, it makes you realize how important the ocean is. us surfers would be lost without it.

each time i come back from Molokai, everybody asks me about it. i tell them “it’s the most magical place in the world. the things you will see and experience is unexplainable.”

and the quality time you can sit around with friends is priceless. there is nothing else to do but to appreciate each others company. this is my brother in law Tony’s house where we always stay at. someday, i will have my own house on molokai too. and you will all be welcomed!

once again, just enjoying each others company from morning till dark. when will i go back again? the answer to that is “your guess is as good as mine. all i know is Mayuki is full of gas and on standby. and if the ocean doesn’t cooperate, i’ll fly there. and if you want to go with me, you better be on 1 hour standby. things happen fast in my life” haha.

ok, surfed 3 days with Rikita-san and Toshimi-san for a total of 10 hours surf time. yes, 10 hours in 3 days! so when Rikita-san told me that his arms were sore after todays surf, my reply was “of course it’s sore! mine too!” haha.

Toshimi-san’s arms weren’t sore. she wanted to surf more and more. i have no idea where this girl gets her energy from.

so in the past 3 days, their level of surfing raised tremendously. short board or longboard, both so good!

it’s amazing how beautiful hawaii is. i’m so lucky to be here right now!

went to Yajima-ya for some mushroom chicken. always so good! thank you guys for the wonderful 3 days of fun!

today was a big day for me because it was the day i was born. i was born a kid, then became a man, then now i’m turning back into a kid again. i felt like having some freedom so i jumped on the freeway and when my speedometer hit 100km, i felt like the wind again! watched the sunset, came home, ate homemade sushi for dinner, and now getting ready to sleep at 8pm. a very happy day indeed. another wonderful year has passed and i’m looking forward to this magical year. let’s go have some kid fun!
