for the past 2 evenings, i’ve been looking up at the sky from my house. something was strange??? two bright lights. airplanes? no, not moving. what is it?
come to find out, it was Jupiter and Venus!!! omg, first time i seen those planets so bright!
omg, it’s been so hot! surfed 6:30am this morning and was already too hot. the water has been very warm too. kind of reminds me of indonesia. perfect surf and perfect weather. solid head high and another bigger swell on sunday. yeah!
it’s unbelievable how many new luxury condos are popping up. i use to be able to see the mountains clearly from ala moana park, but not anymore.
for the 2nd time in 3 weeks, some kid pooped in the pool! omg! hey parents, make sure your kids poop in the toilet. now the pool will be closed for the 4th of july weekend. bummer.

ok, rainy season in japan is almost over. now things are going to get interesting. typhoon season is going to be in full swing very soon. i’m watching it everyday and i’m dedicating 10 days this month to chase a typhoon or two. i got my eyes and ears wide open!
i just started to do grab rail cutbacks. why? well, i always wanted to do them ever since i started surfing but my body was too stiff. thanks to yoga, i can finally touch my feet! and now that i can touch my feet, i can reach my rail. yeah!
they banned plastic bags in hawaii as of yesterday. finally the day has come where i don’t have to see this anymore.
