had another great surf session with Kouji-kun yesterday. the waves once again was pretty hard. super strong onshore winds, strong current, and 50 waves per minute. it was just wave after wave. we surfed 3.5 hours of non-stop paddling and non-stop surfing. i must have went over 500 waves and Kouji-kun even more. he’s a very strong kid that never gave up. caught some long amazing waves and compared to the other day we surfed, his skill went up 4 levels. great job Kouji-kun!

it’s been so beautiful! just another day in paradise.

check out this photo of Wendell Kong’s friends King Kong Tako! omg! i bet the east side has been beautiful for diving this past 10 days.

it’s been a while since i took Mayuki out. the winds are the worst it’s been for a very long time. everyday of strong west winds making the water super choppy on the south shore. i have some friends that take their boat out everyday but not recently. in fact, i seen one of my friends coming out with his 46′ yacht and when he seen the conditions in the ocean, i seen him U turn in the channel. it’s been that bad. and guess what? more strong west winds everyday next week. most people staying on the north shore are pretty bummed because of the shitty waves, but i’m pretty stoked during times like this because i can get so many things done. precious time i really needed. thank you mother nature for giving me a break.

White in the Eye!

i had the morning off today so i decided to crawl under my house and look into my treasure chest. and guess what? i found more than treasure, i found magic boards! can’t wait to clean them up and use them again!

i’ve been putting off painting my house because one part is pretty high. too high to put a ladder and plus i’m afraid of standing on ladders. i just don’t trust it. i’d rather climb like a monkey so that’s what i did. hanging out of my window and getting the job done.

my window is pretty high so if i slip and fall, call the ambulance. was going to pay somebody to do this for me but ended up doing it myself. cheaper and faster. and yes, a lot more dangerous. thank goodness i can climb like a monkey.

and while i was painting upside down, paint from the brush dripped right into my eye! haha. i should stick to surfing yeah?

then went to take Kouji-kun for a marathon 3.5 hour afternoon session. it was once again challenging, but once again, Kouji-kun did great!
last, check out this video of my brother and the kids in cambodia taking a field trip. i’m so happy to be able to see the kids smiles all the way from hawaii. thanks for making my day bro!
