stoked to see some major upsets at the pipe masters. i always cheer for the underdog because i like to see them so happy. yes, Kelly Slater is said to be unbeatable, but don’t tell that to Alejo Muniz after catching this winning wave in the last minute of the heat. the champion killer.
yeah, i bet Alejo couldn’t believe either he beat the 11x world champion.
John John was another favorite to win the event. but it wasn’t his day.

now getting back to my evening surf sessions. empty lineups, no hassling, no noise, blue/red/gold/pink/orange/yellow skies as the day comes to an end. there is no where else in the world i would want to be.
just like heaven.

alyssa is going to college, which is HUGE for her career. surf backdoor, so a few snaps, then go to school? what a great lifestyle….
then get this! she got her jewelry collection in Tachikawa Takashimaya in TOKYO! yeah, she’s hitting it big time. Takashimaya is like the Macy’s here so imagine getting your product in there? we went to dinner the other night and i was telling her how far she has come. her jewelry is getting more and more creative and more and more people are wearing it. great job alyssa!!!
i’m pretty sure it’s already sold out… maybe next time….
