photo 1
i want to thank Toda-san and Takami-san for bringing me so many goodies all the time. this time was a cooler full of goodies, candy, and a 40lbs bag of rice!
photo 2
i went to fuji last year and ate some delicious shrimp. now i can eat the same delicious shrimp in hawaii!

this morning, Fujiki-san and i decided to get away from all the parade traffic and surf a different spot. so i took him to a place where i surf to get away from all the crazy people. it’s just us and the waves. photo by Yuki-san.

i still tell everybody that it is never too late to start surfing. Inaida-san is an example how a surfboard, a wave, hawaii, and some friends can start a new lifestyle. a great lifestyle.

the other day my friend paddled out to me and said “wow, that girl on the red board caught the best wave.” that girl was Yuki-san.
2 months ago, i blocked off 3 days, next monday, tuesday, and wednesday for my vacation. i’m looking forward to it!

Celebrating the South Swell!

photo 1
we were eating dinner the other night and ordered a bottle of champagne. the waiter asked us “is there any celebration tonight?” i replied “we are celebrating the south swell.” and we still are.

cafe miro has the best lamb on the island by far. you should try it!
photo 3
and since japan banned raw meat, japanese love to eat yukke here in hawaii. choi’s garden has the best and katsura-san loves it. me too.
photo 4
raw beef at its finest. check out choi’s garden.

and last, i was over at Inaida-san’s house last night and recognized something amazing. OMG! look at his muscles!!! i met Inaida-san 2 years ago and his body didn’t look anything like how it looks now. that’s all naturally built from surfing. it amazes me how surfing can bring out the best in everybody’s body and soul. surf and live strong forever!

Shaka Brah!
