well, you can say that today was the first south swell of the year. the waves were 3′ and absolutely perfect. straight offshore winds and hopefully the same tomorrow. surfed 2 rounds today and maybe 3 tomorrow. it’s almost 1am and my eyes are closing. see you in a few hours.

昨日はダイアモンドヘッドのアウトサイドに親子クジラがいた。ボートのすぐ近くまでやってきた。肌の質感まで分かるほどの近さだったよ。

赤ちゃんはママのとなりでのんびり。so cute.

シークレットポイントでサーフィンした帰りにボウルズを通りかかるのは面白い。サーファー30人がアウトに出てた。

チャンネルからのナイスアングル。

この子はいつもいい場所で波待ちして、ウォールまでラインナップするパーフェクトインサイドの波に乗る。

これは”ドロップイン”。もしこれがコンテストなら、前にいる子にペナルティ。これがノースショアなら、怒鳴りつけられ、彼女が男だったらボコボコにされるよ。そういうの、何度も見てきた。
