i had such a great time with Mr. and Mrs. Yamamoto today. it’s both their first time surfing in hawaii and the waves were perfect! sunny, fun, and felt good to be back in the clear blue water. i think i was happier than them being back in hawaii. haha. i was eating nashi champur in bali everyday. i loved it but i love this too. hawaiian style poke on hot rice for lunch today. so good!

when ever i stay in hawaii too long, i forgot how lucky we are to live here. diamond head looks normal to me when i pass by it everyday, but since i haven’t seen it in a week, it was more beautiful than ever today!

somebody sent me this photo they got off surfline. this was sanur in bali on june 27th. gosh, that wave is amazing. good and epic!

well, i’m glad to be back home. love this island life with all the aloha! working hard for the next 3 weeks and then planning on a dive trip, or to chase some typhoons. depending on the flight availability. i might just end up in bali again? haha.

just got back and checked the news here. two guys ages 18 and 22 got into a fight with a 58 year old man on kalakaua avenue in waikiki. they stabbed the 58 year old man and ran away. luckily, the police found them.
scuba spearfishing banned on the west side of the island of hawaii. that’s great news. i hope they ban it on every side of all the islands. it’s a start to a good thing.
other than that, life rolls on here. there will be good surfing, and bad violence where ever you go. just be careful where you go, especially at night. nowhere is safe anymore.

i have one iPhone that i got unlocked and use in the world. all i have to do is change my sim card and i’m good to go. convenience is the key to happy travels!

you will never catch me in a sketchers store ever again. i buy $40 shoes and it’s my fault. the only person i have to blame is myself. having a hole in your shoe while traveling sucks. does anybody know a good quality brand shoe that will last for more than 5 months? i need it light and strong because it goes in my backpack when i travel. as of now, i don’t care how much it costs. as long it it lasts me for longer than 5 months.
