The waves were so nice today!
We surfed 2 rounds for 4.5 hours.
So good tired.
So happy.

i went to a intermediate school band performance last night. it was pretty impressive as the kids did a great job!

after Kobayashi-san and i surfed all morning, we were super hungry. i ask him “what do you want to eat?” he says “meat!” so i tell him, “ok, i’m going to take you to the best prime rib in hawaii. BUT, it’s a super local place and nothing like waikiki. Kobayashi-san happened to order the last piece of prime rib so he was lucky. the other big hawaiian locals that went after us were bummed.

in japan, this would be enough meat for 3 people. i can’t believe Kobayashi-san ate it all!

i ordered the oxtail stew plate. it was sooooo good!!!! this restaurant is super local. you won’t find tourists in there except for the ones i take. it’s a totally different world where it’s located and i wouldn’t recommend you going there alone. then after we ate all of this, we ate a snickers candy bar and a soda. then went surfing. full stomach surf session. haha.

after our second round, Kobayashi-san wanted to eat a acai bowl. omg, i couldn’t do it. i’m still full!!! thank you Kobayashi-san for a super fun surfing/eating day!
