it was good to see Go-Naminori Official Blogger Kekoa Uemura the other day at Kewalo’s. super cool guy with super cool boards.

i wouldn’t know how my life would be without free diving. it’s not just about catching fish, it’s about underwater therapy, it’s about relaxation, it’s about experiences, and it’s about making friends. ever since i started, i have made some awesome friends that i can trust with my life. rain or shine!

i still can’t believe how dirty the water was the other day from the heavy rain. but somehow, kyle and i managed to get some quality fish.

red is best! and i tell the kids all the time “don’t just catch fish, clean it, scale it, prepare it, and enjoy it.”

i’ve been cutting fish the japanese way. open it up, salt it, and get it ready for the grill.

then wrap a few and give it away to friends.
anyway, get ready for the big south swell. with the off shore winds, the waves should be perfect. this summer has already been the best summer and we’ve just started. every swell that comes in now is just a bonus swell. see you at the bowl or big rights!
