Bye bye Hawaii.
See you in Japan!
Honeymooners/Bulls/Namaste
i had such a great time with the new Mr. and Mrs. Harada. Masa-san and Haruka-san came to hawaii for their honeymoon and i was super stoked to take them surfing. the waves were perfect for us yesterday and you could just tell by the long rides and smiles that surfing is part of their lives. i wish you both the best future ahead!
i finally uploaded my photos i took in argentina and uruguay on my computer. gosh, i had a great time! haha. i’m will upload a full gallery as soon as i get back from my next trip. i can’t wait to get on the airplane tomorrow. it’s going to be a long relaxing flight to japan. going to tokyo, jumping on the shinkansen, and should be in sendai around 8 or 9pm. i only will be in japan for 3 days so i’m thinking i’ll be pretty busy. but busy is my life and i’m looking forward to it.
one year ago when i was looking at a photo of this pose in a magazine, i thought this would be impossible for an old guy like me. but with proper training and proper advise, it’s all coming together. i can hold myself off the ground for 20 seconds and my goal is to hold this pose for 5 minutes. you have to balance your strength, focus, mind, confidence, and breath to be able to do this. and maybe next time i’ll buy some yoga pants so i don’t look like a city yoga boy. haha. but ever since i started doing this, my life has changed. after doing this in the morning, my blood is pumping from head to toe and i’m ready for a bright day ahead. namaste!
December 14, 2012 Hawaii Surf Report
Yesterday: Coast Guard looking for missing surfboard or missing surfer? I think missing surfboard.
Today typhoon or hurricane? I think crazy windy. All week crazy wind!
Good morning 4am.
OMG! So windy! 35mph gusts!
Junk waves today.
South small.
North small. Probably no Pipe Masters or small Pipe Masters.
East huge! Makapuu and Sandy Beach big and onshore.
Rain, clouds, wind, and rainbows.
Best spot: On the airplane.
Have a wonderful day!
