ok, the hawaiian world team came home with the GOLD medal last year. that’s over and it’s time for this years show. there are hundreds of young surfers trying to get the top 10 or so elite slots to represent hawaii for the next world contest. 3 of my nephews made the team last year and i’m hoping that they all make it again this year. they just had the tryouts and if you want to see the competition, check out this video. the surfing level is so high and i’m not too sure any other team in the world can beat the hawaiian team. just pure raw talent! watch out for josh and seth moniz. if the contest is barreling, i’ll put all my money on both of them. go-boys!
