this is the 4th year we’ve been surfing together and everybody is getting better and better. here is 9 year old Ai-chan and i doing tandem surfing.

it must be a good feeling for mother and daughter to share a surfing experience together.

the past 3 years, Mari-chan rode tandem with me. this time, she wanted to surf by herself. first wave, perfect riding! good job Mari-chan!

it’s cool how the ocean brings out the deepest smile in everyone. when we take photos on land, i have to say “smile.” but when taking photos in the ocean it’s already all big smiles!
