Ohayo gozaimasu!
I ate this all last night!
Japan is my dreamland!
Best food in the world.
Going to Chiba.
Have a wonderful day!
I'm a Chimpanzee!
Wow, here I am sitting in a lovely seat enjoying my vanilla ice cream with whipped cream. Woke up early this morning. Went for a surf. Ate lunch. Headed to the airport. And luckily got on this airplane. Delta just renovated this aircraft and it’s probably the smoothest ride from Hawaii to Japan. My seat turns into a bed and the service is great. Matsu is on the other side of me and we are feeling like VIP’s. I’m glad to have such a special friend at Delta.
Watched 2 movies. One was a documentary called Chimpanzee. Super cool and makes me want to go to Africa again. But first, Japan. Plan to go to Chiba tomorrow, then maybe head to Shikoku or something. Only have 10 days si going to be busy. Then back to Hawaii soon.
Hopefully all my friends throughout Japan will keep me posted in the waves and hope to see you all! One more hour till landing and I’m pretty excited to spend time in the country I love so much. See you!
Kelly Slater x Kelia Moniz x Quiksilver x Roxy
daisuke was just in taiwan and sent me these photos of a quiksilver/roxy ad up on a building. kelly slater on the left, kelia moniz on the right. kelly is the face for quiksilver and kelia is the face for roxy. super cool!
when i was in bali, i seen posters and billboards of kelia all over the place too. kind of weird to see your niece up on buildings smiling at you.
from a 13 year old girl with a dream, to a 19 year old living it. dreams do come true.
spending 3 days in bali was super fun. i lived the life as a millionaire. it was the time i needed to relax and get ready for a crazy mentawai boat trip that i wasn’t prepared for. haha. i wish this was my bed on the boat.
for the boat, i got the top bunk, kyle got the bottom. every morning i would wake up and look out the window to check the surf. after the trip, i spent one night in a hotel in haneda. in the middle of the night, i woke up, looked out the window, and checked the waves. but instead of blue ocean, there was concrete everywhere. sometimes i still feel like i’m on the boat. dreams, nightmares, i don’t know.
anyway, what ever kind of bed i sleep on, i’m fine. i use to sleep in my small K-car in japan, and use to sleep on the sidewalk in roppongi. so anything is better than that. haha.
