i finally bought the 50mm canon lens i was looking for. it only cost $115 brand new but if i can find a used one, i’ll get it. i was actually looking for 6 months so when i saw this one on sale for $75, i bought it. and it also came with the hood. score! patience pays off.

i had fun surfing with this kid. Marin-kun had a bad first experience surfing in japan so i tried my best to make this surf session a memorable one. after a few waves, he was hooked! right before i dropped him off at his hotel, he asked me “can you take me surfing again next year when i come to hawaii.” of course!!! hey Marin, you’re a cute kid, super courteous, and really brave! shaka brah!
