i had a fun time this morning surfing with this young husband and wife. it is Yuki-san and Mitsumi-san’s first time to hawaii and i’m glad to have taken them surfing today. the waves were good, the water was warm, and it was a super sunny day. they caught so many waves and it was nice to see their smiles! Thank you Yuki-san and Mutsumi-san for the fun surf session. and thank you Tanaka-san from Deed Surf Shop in Tochigi for introducing this wonderful couple to me. Keep on Surfing!

i was at a park the other day taking a nap between surf sessions. i lay down my towel, i lie flat on my back, i look up to the sky, and i take 10 deep breaths before i fall into a deep sleep. then my alarm rings and i gotta go! fast, but efficient.

another thing fast and efficient is a private jet. i can sit right in the cockpit and see everything. it actually looks pretty easy to fly an airplane and hopefully someday i can. next time i ride in a private jet, i’m going to ask the captain if i can fly the plane for a little while. if he says no, i will fire him. haha. just joking.
anyway, surfed for 5.5 hours today and i’m as dark as can be. tomorrow i’m probably going to surf for 6 hours. yeah!

Hare otoko means a person with good luck with perfect sunny weather. Inaida-san has yet to see the dark rainy side of hawaii. every time he comes, it’s paradise! and if you surf in paradise everyday, you will be happy. on this trip, Inaida-san caught some of the biggest waves in his life. i bet in one year, Inaida-san will be surfing the north shore!
