i wanted to thank Michiko-san from Fine magazine for sending me the latest issue. Fine magazine is one of the top surf/fashion magazines in japan. if you are in there, your instant famous as most of the younger generation of teens read page by page every issue.

this month the did a special on who is the cutest girl in the surfing scene. yeah, the surf scene around the world! #1 was Kelia Moniz. a lot of people that know Kelia from the outside knows how beautiful she is. but for the few who know Kelia from the inside know how sweet she is. caring, loving, and giving. i’m so happy for my niece to be in the spotlight around the world making her family and fans so proud of her. Go-Kelia!

there was a little mixup. Fine magazine asked me for a photo but i didn’t have any recent ones so i asked my sister. she sent it to me, i sent it to them explaining it was taken by Tammy Moniz. they printed my name for the photo credit but that’s ok because i taught my sister how to shoot anyway. haha. sorry sis!
