ok, i have a few questions about twitter.
first: what the heck does retweet meen?
second: i got the application for my iphone but nothing comes through.
third: am i supposed to reply to everybody?
forth: where does it end?
i don’t even know how to use twitter but signed up because i was advised to. now i find out that people are sending me messages that i have no idea about. and because i haven’t replied, i must look like an asshole. and for the past 4 years, i’ve been advised to sign up for facebook. what if i don’t reply to messages on facebook too? double asshole? i can barely keep up with my go-naminori emails. this cyber world is scaring me. i miss the telephone calls and the letters i use to get back in the good old days. those were priceless.
i’m going to trim down on computer time in 2012. i’m even thinking about getting rid of my iphone. i miss my slow lifestyle.

i took this photo during M5 which was 8 months after the tsunami. the 20km radius from the nuclear plant is still blocked off. i really want to get in there to see what’s going on. we pulled up here 5 times already and got turned away. will this be forever? when will it end?

this is the day the tsunami hit japan. kyle was surfing, cathy was paddling out, and i was shooting. we were in palau and i’ll never forget that day. a day that changed my life forever.
