i remember the time we had a boat trip to the philippines. about 6 years ago? it was classic. so much fun in day and night. our crew was from japan, hawaii, italy, singapore, germany, and south africa. a mixed bag of surfers all on this trip for one reason: to have a great time! surf trip journal magazine did the article and looking back at photos like this, i want to do it all over again. surf all day, party all night!

2 days ago, i drove down to the beach early in the morning. the waves didn’t come up as expected and a certain part of diamond head looked cleaner than usual. should i go surf and wait for the swell? or should i go back home and grab my speargun? i went back home to grab my speargun. after i got out of the water, i checked my dive watch. it recorded 55 dives @ approx. 1 minute 45 seconds per dive. no wonder i was so tired. after i dropped the cooler of fish at home, i loaded the truck and went surfing. a very active day, and a very satisfying day. a healthy life, and a healthy meal. can’t beat that combo!
