good morning, afternoon, evening, night? what ever it is, my mind and body is confused. i hope it will adjust soon because waking up at 3am just gazing at the ceiling sucks.
as i was flying into japan, i was amazed by the beautiful rice fields in chiba. just perfectly lined up, green as can get, and so beautiful. then i stepped off the plane into this unbearable heat wave.

i was watching the news and was thinking something as i watched the women’s soccer team coming back to japan. here are a bunch of women that gave japan a gift. a gift of hope. these women weren’t supposed to beat USA and these women weren’t supposed to win. they were the underdogs and came from behind to come out as world champions. at a time when japan needed some good news, it couldn’t have been sweeter. it’s given thousands hope, and it’s given thousands of courage. congratulations to the women’s soccer champions, and congratulations to the nation of japan!
