good evening. i just received this email from my friend here in hawaii. reading this email really made me think. please read and let me know what you think about it….
Pretty nuts first hand report from lady in Sendai who lives here in Hawaii. Read the “Sendai Report” blog. Amazing how the Japanese people take care of each other. One restaurant owner rides his BIKE TWO HRS IN THE SNOW to get ingrdients so he can open up his shop and feed hungry people. One famous ramen shop is giving out free meals and people are lined up out the door.
Her biggest point?? All the little mom-n-pop restaurants are open n trying to just keep people fed… But the “big American chains” like KFC and McDonalds are closed.
Those mu’fukas could feed soooooo many people if they opened up their doors. They could have truckloads of food delivered from Tokyo or surrounding prefectures.
That’s pretty sad… Why is it that McDonalds and all the large fast food chains have yet to step up when they have so many locations in japan?? They can feed so many people for so little cost. If a double cheeseburger is $.99… How much you think that thing cost to make… $.50???
here’s what i think after i read this. first, i praise the japanese people for their kindness even in tragic events like this. big hearts with open arms is what made me want to live there 21 years ago. i could just imagine the japanese bonding together now which gives hope to people around the world. as for big corporations like mcdonalds and kfc, i’m ashamed of them after reading this email. in times of need, they are no where to be found. and when things get better, i’m sure they will reopen. this is one of the reasons why i support small businesses. i hope you do too….
Where is the HELP?

Keep Cool…
good morning. it seems pretty windy and rainy outside. it’s 5am and going to start working. lots to do. have a nice day.
the other night i pulled into a parking lot for dinner. it was a one lane parking lot and i was driving slow and waiting for a parking. an inpatient man was driving behind me and tried to go around. there was not enough room but he tried anyway. he hit my car and tried to drive away. there was no way he was running away from me so i drove up ahead of him and turned my car in front of his to block him in. he came out of his car really pissed off and started yelling at me. there were 20 people right in front of the restaurant watching the whole thing. i get out of my car and instead of putting him in a headlock and choking him to sleep, i dial 911, call the cops, and let them take care of it. after a local guy who saw everything came to me and said “shit, i would have kicked his ass.” yeah, 10 years ago, i would have probably did that. but now, i have a mission and i can’t accomplish my mission if i’m in jail. so i just walked away from a situation that could have been a lot worst. and now that guys insurance will pay for new paint on my car. peace[:?????§???:]
