good morning. been researching lots of information about photography and lenses on the web. i just got a new lens last week and been playing around with it….

it’s a canon 100mm EF 1:2.8 macro lens. now i can shoot things close up. i always wanted this lens and after 20 years of dreaming about it, i finally found a cheap good used one… score!!!

**i got a really funny email last night. this diver asked me where my secret spot is. hey, if i were to spend days and days of time, and money and money on gas to find secret spots loaded with fish, then tell everybody where it is, i’d be a fool. wouldn’t i? my spots are all top secret and when ever i go dive, we get fish. if i told people where it was, there wouldn’t be fish. yes, i use to be nice. not anymore. most divers in hawaii know that fish is scarce. i only take trusted friends diving on my boat. and that’s the way it will always be….

this is my speargun quiver i’m using now. a 75 cm for small fish, a 100 cm for medium fish, a 110 cm for large fish, and a 125 cm for GIANT fish. spearguns are expensive but i think i got my money back 100 times. great investment yeah?

i got poked my the “wana” in the beginning of the day. it hurt for 10 seconds. i kept diving all day long and forgot about it. then when i came home and when i looked at it, all the pain came back. it was stinging and burning… itai!!!
