Wanna Ride?

good sunday marathon morning. perfect weather, perfect waves, and another perfect day. there is a little south swell in town. looking at bowls right now and it’s waist/chest high and perfect. 2 guys out and it will be uncrowded all day long because of the marathon. yeah, if you can somehow find a way to get to ala moana or diamond head, you will score uncrowded surf. north shore is looking sweet!!! guys are getting barreled at backdoor and pipe. looks 3-5′ and probably too small for the pipe masters. they want to finish it today but i think it’s better to wait because another big swell coming tuesday. their making the call at 7:30 am. keep you posted… anyway, have a super fun sunday!!!

it was 6:30 pm when i was working on my computer. then i get the call and headed to my friends house to watch UFC 107. hawaiian BJ Penn vs. Sanchez. both great fighters but i’m always cheering for the hawaiian. so i jump on the moped, stop by and grab a 12 pack of steinlager pure’s, and head to waikiki….
i get there right before the fight starts. perfect timing! bj penn was in perfect form. it was so exciting that we were yelling. i’m surprised the security didn’t come up…. BJ Penn kicks Sanchez’s ass. great fight and the hawaiian wins!!!

i don’t think there is anybody in the world that can beat BJ Penn. he was just too fast, strong, and confident….

how’s this view? crazy!! i wish i can wake up to this every morning….

for the first hour i was there, i thought there was a stuffed animal sitting on the sofa. shit!!! it turned out to be my friends dog. yeah, this is the smallest 7 year old dog i’ve ever seen…. i wanted to stick it in my pocket and take it home…

then we started watching boxing. there is this guy from the philippines named Manny Pacquiao. i haven’t seen him fight before but he’s supposed to be the next big thing in boxing. this guy looked unbeatable….

his hand speed and power is so amazing that he holds championship belts in many divisions…. and he has the whole country of the philippines backing him up. can you believe the vice president of the philippines was at his fight? now he’s got one more fan. can’t wait to see him box again….
