speaking of tony, i’ve been going down to the sheraton to hang out there once in a while. i pull up to the valet where the boys take care of me, i walk by local motion to say hi to maki-san, pass the infinity pool, say hi to tony and tammy, i grab a standup, paddle out to canoes, run over 5 tourist on every wave (that’s because i suck at stand up paddling), go in, sit under the umbrella and sip a margarita, take a dip in the pool, pass by local motion and say hi to maki-san, go out to the front of the hotel where wendell kong is waiting with my car at the valet, go home, and sleep like a baby. now you know why i feel like a king. thanks boys…

Oh my Gosh!!!!

good morning. 6:15 am thursday morning. small small waves around the island. south shore is waist high and seems like it’s trying to come up. north shore is waist high. gosh, it’s been a long time since we got a solid swell yeah? i forgot what it feels like to get barreled. no swells on the way so i guess we have to be patient. today at 3 pm is the start of the final game for the NBA finals. who ever wins this game 7 will be world champions. i’m cheering for the boston celtics. every single male in hawaii will be glued to the tv from 3-6 pm so if you want to surf uncrowded waves, go surf around then. i bet you will score!! well, have a nice day!!!

i drove around the east side yesterday and i don’t remember it being that beautiful. gosh, it was picture perfect everywhere. sandy beach was so sunny with cool trade winds. white sand, blue water, and perfect clean waves all over the place. half point was the spot!!

and makapuu was like a postcard. i wish i had my good camera with me. it was one of those 10 out of 10 point days…

no, this is not spice owner akazawa-san, this is spice owner akazawa-san’s older brother akazawa-san. when i drove up to his hotel yesterday, i could see him from a mile away. the spice tank top and the akazawa-san look. we had such a great time yesterday hanging out. akazawa-san and akazawa-san have many things in common, but the most thing they have in common is their laugh. gosh, it’s so funny how brothers act like one another…. i hope my brothers don’t act like me. haha…

look at all these presents akazawa-san brought for me from miyazaki. i’m soooo happy!!! itadakimasu!!!
