good morning. 7 am and guess what? north swell? laniakea is going off!! the waves are head high and perfect!!! 40 guys out already but what a treat for this time of year. town? small and crowded. seen a waist, maybe chest high set at bowls and there are 25 guys or so out already. i guess summer is in full swing. clean conditions everywhere. get out there and enjoy it!!! have a nice day.

i put on my shoes yesterday morning and did a run around town. after 30 minutes in the hot sun, i thought i was going to have a heat stroke. gosh, i don’t know how the marathon runners do it. i think i just changed my mind about running the marathon this year. maybe i’ll swim it?

i seen this at the waianae boat harbor yesterday. now this is my kind of toy!! before my life is over, i will own one of these…

i’m so happy! i was tired as heck late last night but i downloaded the video i took. here is my gun and see the fish on the bottom? that’s my dinner…. i got the whole video of me spearing the fish, and kyle putting in the backup shot. the only bummer is not having the sharks trying to eat me on video. maybe next time? haha. hope there’s no next time…

i was in my favorite toy store this past weekend, the apple store. i couldn’t believe how crowded it was. since apple started making user friendly and affordable computers, millions of people have switched from windows. i switched about 10 years ago and that was one of the smartest decisions in my technical life. i can never go back. but i just have to stay away from the apple store because i want everything in there…

this is a 1.5 liter bottle of water. i drink 5 of these a day. beer, juice, soda, and jacksan tastes good, but nothing tastes better than pure water. without it, we’d all die…

the other night when i was drinking some korean soju with my old time friends, an interesting story came up. holli was telling me about a guy that walked up to her the day before as she was leaving shirokiya at ala moana shopping center. he followed her into macy’s and started talking to her and asked questions like “how’s you day and where are you going?” holli said he was very polite and clean cut. the only reason why holli talked to him for a little is because this guy came across as an uncle? or old time friend? i guess he had this way of thinking that they knew each other. as soon as holli got the negative vibe, she turned away and walked the other direction. then holli told me, the guy introduced himself as Elton.
WHAT@@##?? OH MY GOSH@@##!! said candace who was sitting one seat over from holli.
candace said that this guy came up to her the other week in sams club as she was by the flower section. he started asking her questions like “what kind of flowers do you think my mother would like? and kept on talking. the guy was very polite and clean cut. he introduced himself as Elton.
how crazy is that? i just couldn’t believe it? what are the chances of 2 of my best friends trying to get picked up by the same guy at 2 random places? we were all in disbelief????? so here’s what i have to say to this guy…
“hey Elton, what’s going on dude? if i was stupid, i’d think the only girls you tried to pick up were my 2 friends. but i ain’t stupid. what’s going on? are you playing the “odds” game? try to pick up 100 girls, get rejected by 99 but score that 1? and going to the shopping malls in day light to pick up on mothers? yeah, my friends kids were right on her side when you went to talk to her. that’s screwed dude. it’s not only screwed, it’s scary. i wonder how many women you picked up with that technique? wait, don’t answer because i don’t want to know. just wanted to let you know that i put the word out that if another girl i know meets you, i told her to take a photo of you and you are going to be on the beginning of every blog i do. it’s going to have your photo saying on the bottom, WATCH OUT FOR THIS GUY ELTON! i’ll even send your photo to guy hagi and ask him to put you on the news. just stay away from my friends!”
**one more thing. i’m so proud of holli and candace to walk away from that creep. it could have been worst. what if they both called me and said “hey kirby, i have a new boyfriend, his name is Elton.” haha… way to go girls…
