LIFE IS GOOD….

good morning. 6:30 am on this monday morning. windy junk surf on the north shore. town is flat unless you know where to look for the east trade swell wrap around. i bet lighthouse? got so many things to do today that i don’t even know where to start. ahhh…. help!!! anyway, hope you have a nice day!!!
i have a problem. when i wake up on the mornings, i want to do everything. and i mean everything.
the other day i went to the beach, i had my speargun, surfboard, and camera in my car and i just couldn’t make up my mind….
what should i do today???

paddle my surfboard with my speargun and camera at the same time. why not do everything? somebody asked me what gun i’ve been using recently. this is my 100cm picasso basik stock gun. no modifications. you can buy it from the dive shop brand new for about $250. i bought this one used for $100. i take this one to travel because if something breaks, i can find a replacement part pretty easily. this one is going with me on my next trip to japan, bali, japan, okinawa, mentawai, and back to hawaii. i just hope i don’t forget to take wasabi….

and to the question i always get on “how deep you can dive?” i don’t know. if i see a fish i want to eat, i’ll go down as long as i can see the bottom. this dive wasn’t too deep so i felt pretty comfortable lying on the bottom hiding from the fish…. can you see me? the fish couldn’t….

2 days ago i was sitting on a secluded white sandy beach looking at the blue sky thinking about something. want to know what it was?
LIFE IS GOOD!!!

Fresh Catch….

still feeling the good vibe from the other night. good music all night along with good poems after. poems??

yeah poems. after kat’s live performance the other night, they had a poem contest. guys and girls were going up on the stage and letting their emotions out in words. it was amazing. real life experiences? broken hearts? cancer? furlough friday? religion? i was sitting there in awe. it might have been the first time in my life i sat down and didn’t talk. i just listened….

had a fun day today diving, swimming with dolphins, swimming with turtles, and fishing off waikiki. i was on my boat ALL day long. am i tired? yes sir. i’ll be sleeping by 8 pm tonight…

the kumu on the right was down 40′. the tako on the left was 2′ deep. the tako is so big that it’s making the kumu look like a baby. it’s cleaned and ready to go!! have a great evening….
**just a message to the guys going on the mentawai boat trip on april 18th. bring a lot of wasabi!!! haha…

Free Dive Sunday!!

Nice Dinner!!
