the other day i opened up my garage, i seen something that made me say “WOW, WOW, WOW.” my brother bought a new toy!!! right away, i was thinking to myself… “i can’t wait to play with it.”

i was hanging out at my sisters house when he pulled up. nows my chance! i took it for a spin up and down the street. when i came back, i was so happy that i gave my monkey face look. haha… i can’t wait to take it around the island…

the editing begins. from tape, to computer, to hard disc, to seattle, to computer, to editing, to go-naminori! hey mike, i finally got the kids to put their videos on the hard drive you sent. i hope they know what they are doing… you should be getting the hard drive back next week. thanks again for the time and effort!!!

and last, check out this cool photo okinawan kazu-san sent me. he said he was checking out canoes when he decided to take a line up shot. then as soon as he snapped the shutter, a bird flew right in front of him. wow, what a cool photo!! thanks kazu-san for the surf report and awesome photo!!!
Bike Ride and Flying Bird!
Red Sea Fiesta….
good morning. 7 am and it’s super windy!!! small waves and wind swell for the next few days. not too many people in the water today. if you know where to look, you can score a good wave to yourself. best spot is probably kewalo’s in the evening? as for today, i’m relaxing….. have a nice day….

last night was amazing! toda-san, takami-san, and i were invited to the nakamoto’s house for a barbecue fiesta!! mr. nakamoto was busy on the grill cooking the steaks, ribs, and fish, while mrs. nakamoto was on the stove steaming the fish. kyle and cathy were running around preparing everything else. toda-san, takami-san, and i were sitting around eating like kings. the food was soooooo good and we had such a great time!!!

this was the pupu table. 3 kinds of poke, bbq oysters, natto, sashimi, sashimi, and sashimi. like we say in hawaii “broke da mouth.” which means, “mechakucha oishikatta!”

after the pupu line was the main entree line. the steamed kumu’s was my favorite. and the steak? and the ribs? oh my gosh!!!

mrs. nakamoto did a great job in preparing the fish. these 2 kumu’s would run you $100 in a chinese restaurant. i’m glad we are divers….

then mr. nakamoto busted out the orion beer. wow, felt like we were in okinawa again…. haisai!!!

after eating enough food for 5 people, and drinking a few orion and red stripe beers, i was getting sleepy. i wish i had a pillow and could have slept right there….
wanted to thank everybody last night for the great food and entertainment. i can’t wait to do it again… and again…
Big Party!!!

Saiko no Red Sea Party!!!!
